As Meryl is a light material, it allows flexibility along with an easily maintained and long-lasting colour, softness and shape.
Another great main material used by London Dancewear is ‘Supplex’. Supplex is a performance material which offers high durability along with a resistance to abrasion and tears. Supplex is Air Jet Textured, an enhanced texturing process that offers a high performance material, which still remains soft like cotton. Supplex provodes a flexible fit as it has the ability to stretch with full recovery to ensure long lasting garments. Ideal for performance activities, Supplex is breathable and keeps you dry through moisture management. Supplex can also be used freely in outdoor activities as it is windproof, easy to dry and provides protection from UVA and UVB rays. Supplex is easy to care for, and will maintain its shape, colour and soft feel after numerous washes.
I’m a fan of the brand for its versatility, its clothing isn’t solely for dance but can be worn for comfort and to make a fashion statement. My favourite item has to be the ‘ Noa V Shape Backless Bodysuit.
I have worn it not only for Ballet but on a night out too, it looks fabulous with a pair of high waisted jeans or skirt. The material holds you in so well, theres no need for spanx or a bra.
